Of garment care...

Specifically, Irons. I've been trying to purchase an iron lately and frankly, it's driving me batty. It was recommended to me that I purchase a non-cheapo iron because a good iron will make the chore much faster and easier. But the problem isn't that there aren't enough expensive irons, it's that they all suck! Or, at least, purportedly suck.

See, I've been checking out reviews for the few irons that I like (style is a consideration too for me, not just the function,) and it seems there are always some positive reviews when a person first gets it then later on, tons of reviews come back as negative saying the iron broke, leaked or burned a house down!

Each and everytime I find one that I think is suitable I run into this problem. Why is it so hard to find an iron that most people give positive reviews to? I think I'm just going to end up buying whatever iron looks the best considering they're all fated to either destroy all my earthly possessions... or leak.
