Decisions..
I've been more or less maintaining two different blogs for a couple of weeks now (the other is here ) and I'm not sure if I going to continue to do so. I might simply just go with one.
What else could be possibly discussed this morning except for the Laker's game on Sunday? What an amazing finish. I'm not sure if I've seen anything like it. I mean, I've seen my share of game winning shots and late game heroics, but to do it twice, once to get to overtime and once again to win the game... to risk understatement, it was spectacular.
The Lakers are now up 3-1 on the Suns with a game on Tuesday to hopefully close out this series. The Suns did a lot of things better on Sunday but two of the reasons why we needed the late game heroics is entirely in our own control. We had too many possessions where we didn't stick with the offense and we weren't getting to the hustle plays. I expect Kobe and Phil to have the guys prepared on Tuesday. It isn't a "must-win" but both Kobe and Phil (and Deavan George,) has enough experience to know that you can't let up.
Also the Clippers are looking to close out their series against the Nuggets tonight. How interesting that would be if we end up with the Staples Series in the second round. I'm loving this year, I'm loving that the Lakers are making all the haters eat crow and I'm loving that this team is playing together so well. It's a wonderful thing to witness.
Those who follow King James? They're finding out that they've been going to the wrong church.
